From His Heart to the Hills—Welcome to the Crown
Meet Jahbi – The Heart and Hands Behind The Crown
The Crown is not just a place—it’s a living expression of one man’s devotion to land, legacy, and love.
Jahbi, born in the hills of Haddo, carries the spirit of Jamaica in everything he touches. After decades working as a contractor in California, he returned home with a vision rooted in more than blueprints—it was rooted in reverence. Reverence for the earth, for the culture that shaped him, and for a way of life often overlooked by the outside world.
Though deeply guided by Rastafari values—simplicity, community, respect for nature, and spiritual connection—Jahbi resists labels. He moves with integrity, lives with intention, and leads with heart. His love for Jamaica isn’t something he talks about—it’s something you feel the moment you arrive. In the sway of the palms he planted, the mango trees heavy with fruit, the lush landscape that flourishes under his care. It’s in the music that drifts through the hills and the conversations shared over a cup of hot cocoa. The Crown is his creation—but more than that, it’s his invitation.
An invitation to slow down, open up, and experience life as it really is here.
Full of color. Full of rhythm. Full of meaning.
Whether you come for rest, celebration, or exploration, Jahbi welcomes you not as a tourist—but as someone worthy of being shown something sacred. His joy is in sharing, not selling. In offering, not entertaining. In creating a space where those who are open can experience the soul of Jamaica in its truest form.
This isn’t just his home. It’s his offering to the world. And in every way, Jahbi is a king—not by title, but by presence.

Where Hospitality Has a Heartbeat
While Jahbi’s vision laid the foundation, The Crown thrives because of the beautiful souls who pour into it daily. His wife, Patricia, brings warmth, laughter, and hospitality to every guest she meets. Whether she’s sharing a story, preparing a space, or making you feel instantly at ease, her gentle presence adds grace to everything.
Together, Jahbi and Patricia care for this place not as staff, but as stewards—ready to welcome you, guide you, and ensure your stay is not only comfortable, but meaningful.
It’s not just a stay—it’s a shared way of life.

With a love for Jamaica spanning nearly 30 years and 12 visits to the island, Patricia looks forward to enjoying retirement in Jamaica with Jahbi starting in January 2026.
A seasoned Physical Therapist with 47 years of experience, she’s also been an exercise enthusiast and dedicated yoga practitioner throughout her adult life. Her passion for movement and healing extends beyond the clinic; she spent over two decades teaching fellow therapists in her specialty field of Hand Therapy.
When retirement brings her full-time to Jamaica, she hopes to share this expertise with guests of The Crown, offering one-on-one consultations on exercise, maintaining and improving physical health, and strategies for preventing or recovering from injuries or illnesses. With fresh mountain air, an outdoor workout area, yoga mats, a future pool, and wheelchair accessibility throughout, The Crown provides the perfect environment for healing and rejuvenation.
